For the longest time I have been on a hunt for a good & inexpensive primer...which I found for only $6 bucks on http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/primer/mineral_face_primer
I've been using ELF's primer for sometime & I have to admit, it does everything it says it does!
Combats excess oil - check
prevents flaking & dryness- check
helps enlarged pores - double check
Keeps makeup on - triple check!
It truly is a great primer for the price.. while like any product it does have a few setbacks...The packaging can be a bit of a pain as sometimes the primer doesn't want to come out! If you have oily skin, it might not be the best primer for you. Some users have said when they tried applying their foundation it just slid all over their face (I just think they're clearly using the wrong foundation!) but hey! to each their own.
I however believe it is one of the best primers for its price & while everyone is different, it is worth a try! For only 6 bucks...you can't go wrong!
Now...foundation, I have a love/hate relationship with foundation. I have tried countless foundations, every damn time I see a commercial for a new foundation...I usually go out and buy it, then half way through, I stop using it! However, I recently came across Revlon's ColorStay 24 hour foundation. I tried putting it to the test yesterday.
Revlon's 24 hour ColorStay may last 24 hours, however I gave up when I had to shower!I or the foundation shall I say lasted 15 hours (I was told never go to bed with makeup on, so I caved & went to sleep makeup free) The foundation goes on smooth, covers acne very well & doesn't transfer to clothes, or other things! It is truly a great foundation if you're on a budget & you like long wear coverage! It keeps my blush in place just as long as the foundation does!
The only downfall is the smell, I personally think the foundation smells good, however some users say it smells funny!
These are 2 great products that will NOT break the bank! If you do pick these items up...I would love to hear how you like or don't like them!
