I don't know about you...but I am still stuffed from dinner last night! The only downfall about my dinner was I NEVER touched the pumpkin pie! Then it dawned on me, you probably have a can of pumpkin puree in your cabinet! Well, pumpkin is a great ingredient for a face mask! Pumpkin helps hydrate and it also has enzymes & antioxidants that work as a natural exfoliate to leave your skin looking beautiful, radiant and incredibly soft! Pumpkins are also rich in Zinc, which helps to soothe irritated skin!
Before applying the mask make sure you have a clean face, and splash with warm water to open the pores!
Time to raid the kitchen cabinet & fridge!
Here is what you will need:
1 tablespoon of pumpkin puree (canned works great, but please don't use a slice of pumpkin pie!)
1/2 teaspoon of honey
1/4 teaspoon of milk
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl
Apply the mask with your fingers
Leave on for 10-15 minutes
RINSE!
Since you don't want the rest of that pumpkin puree to go to waste you can also make a body scrub!
What you will need:
1/2 Cup of pumpkin puree
1/2 cup of coconut oil (you can find this usually at whole foods type stores)
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Mix all the ingredients together
Apply
Rinse after 10 minutes!
To avoid a mess..it's best to apply in the shower!
Both masks are great for a once a week treat!
Enjoy!
Happy Holidays!
Stay Beautiful!
