Pantene Pro V overtime will build up silicone in your hair, therefore when you color your hair and it's all blotchy it could possibly be the cheap shampoo you're using. Check for sulfate free & beware of high end shampoo and conditioner such as Paul Mitchell at Walmart, it could be years old and shampoo only has a shelf life of 2 years.
