Makeup has always been a favorite of mine. Looking beautiful is key to feeling beautiful. Don't get me wrong I have my days where I look in the mirror and think oh my gosh who would want to look at that face, then I do my make up and then I think...damn I look good. Makeup can make anyone look pretty, however if you don't have confidence and a positive attitude, no makeup artist in the world can make you look good, because it truly does come from within. You could be the most beautiful thing in the world and have the worst attitude..well guess what honey you're not beautiful anymore with that attitude. I believe every woman is beautiful, its something I remind my friends and family every single day. Some don't know how to find that beauty, but really you just have to look in the mirror and tell yourself you're beautiful every single time. Guess what soon enough, you'll believe it!

so enough about beauty, I could write about this for days (which I am pretty sure there will be more to come) Let me tell you about me!

I'm Lori. I love pink, makeup, trucks and guns. I live in Georgia, however I was raised in Sunny South Florida. I grew up in a southern household, so I am a little country! I can be a big tomboy or a HUGE girly girl. I love makeup on a budget, however I will splurge every now and then. After all we should always spoil ourselves (when the budget calls for it, I don't need anyone going broke) So I bet you're wondering how this love for makeup came out, well I was in a relationship with a guy for 6 years, lived together the whole shebang! Typically comfort kicked in and looking good wasn't on top of my list. Well we are no longer together (best thing to ever happen to me) so after all I was back on the market. I couldn't go out looking like I had been crying for days and not caring about myself, could you imagine...I run into my ex, looking like a monster...hair a mess, dark circles under my eyes, puffy eyes...oh man his first thought would be like I am glad I got rid of that. The best type of revenge after a break up is looking good! Showing him you are so much better off (which I am, and so are you!) After the breakup I had a lot of free time on my hands, so I started going on http://www.youtube.com/ finding videos about how to do the smokey eye look, or how to look like Dita Von tease. Since then my friends would tell me I do amazing make up, and next thing you know I was doing their makeup. Don't get me wrong, I am no where near a trained makeup artist...I envy those who are! However when you're working on a Bachelor's degree in Legal studies and working full time, there wasn't much time or money in the day. Which I guess with limited time, it explains why I can do my make up in a matter of 5 minutes! I am just an ordinary girl who has a passion for feeling good, and making others feel good about themselves.

Every person has their every day essentials, the things they can't live without. If I had a choice, I would chose to live with these products for the rest of my life and nothing else! so here are my must haves!

Every great look begins with 2 important steps… 1. Moisturizer, I love this Clean & clear because its dual action, help fights pimples and keeps your face perfectly soft, no dryness here! And 2^nd is primer (I forgot to include it in the picture) I love MAC’s Primer with SPF 20! Keeps my makeup all day long! Then next up is Cover Girl’s trublend foundation, each skin is different, since I have oily skin, I used liquid foundation.

When I am just fresh out the shower, wet hair and all I put Aveda’s Damage Remedy in my hair. It protects it from the blow dryer, curling iron…etc, it helps get the tangles out of my pain in the ass hair! Also, Cherry Blossom Ginseng shine spray not only makes my hair glossy (not greasy like I haven’t washed my hair in weeks!) and it makes my hair smell beautiful!

I am beyond obsessed with these products; they are the best purchases I have bought yet!

My Stila Palette is the best. You have so many options with the 10 shadows, from a day look to a vamped up glam look! So many combinations and if you’re traveling this is perfect, it takes up little space, compared to individual eye shadows. Best part you really do get your money’s worth, this palette was $36 bucks! (For 10 shadows that’s pretty damn good!)

I am pretty sure every time you open up a magazine you will see NARS “orgasm” blush as one of the top picks. Well NARS “Super Orgasm” is just as amazing. Obviously sex sells, because just the name alone sold me! Just kidding, all the reviews from magazines and friends sold me. Even my friend’s 80 year old grandmother wears this! Timeless!

Recently I was at the store grocery shopping and typically I have to stop in the makeup aisle…Its 2^nd nature even if I don’t plan on buying something (yet I usually do) which in this case it was L’Oreal’s Voluminous million lashes…tried it that night and it made my lashes look long, and beautiful, even more full! No clumps at all. I was hooked! Now my lashes can’t look great without an eye lash curler, it may look scary, but don’t let it fool you, it’s probably the best invention ever! If you’re running a quick errand and don’t feel like putting on a whole face, just curling your lashes can make your eyes brighter!

I hope you enjoyed my can’t live without every day essentials, it may seem like my beauty regimen every day takes hours, but I like to keep it simple, turn up the music, and my makeup is done with 5 minutes (unless I am going out for the evening, then it might take a little longer! I am pretty sure the same goes with every girl)
